Juniper return to Blenheim!

What a fantastic day we had hosting our guests at SsangYong Blenheim International Horse Trials, soaking up all the action and supporting our amazing sponsored rider, Ginny Howe. With the weather on our side once again, we enjoyed a beautiful sunny day with wonderful company and delicious food, all from our lakeside marquee.

Thank you to everyone who joined us on this magical day! We thoroughly enjoyed hosting our clients and friends and hope you enjoyed everything this wonderful event in the international eventing calendar has to offer.

The sport of eventing is the ultimate triathlon test for horse and rider, with three phases – dressage, cross-country ridden across open park land within a set time, followed by show jumping in an arena.

Possibly one of the leading four-star competitions in the world, Blenheim has been hosting this class since 1990. Known for its fair, but challenging courses over excellent ground, it is a favoured venue for competing horses at this level before they go to the highest level of eventing (CCI5*), attracting some of the world’s best riders and their up and coming horses.

The cross-country phase was particularly influential this year, with only 9 out of 64 riders going clear inside the time.

We would like to say huge congratulations to Ginny, who competed with two horses, Undalgo De Windsor and Trendy Captain Clover in the CCI-L4*. It is always such a pleasure to see Ginny ride. She is a true sportswoman, approaching every competition with detailed preparation, consideration for every horse and how they like to go, as well as courage and determination. Hopefully the pictures tell the story…

Ginny Howe commented on her performance "Undalgo De Windsor did his personal best at this level scoring 37, A 13 mark improvement on his last test! Trendy Captain Clover was a total super star, his 1st 4*L and scores a 32. So happy with him, he is such a trier!".

We look forward to continuing to support Ginny throughout the 2020 season.
