The results
The Juniper Co. maintains a close, collaborative partnership with PwC. We have continuously refined the EMEA Account Manager Development Programme to meet the evolving demands of strategic account leadership at PwC. This includes redesigning modules and adjusting delivery formats, such as successfully converting two face-to-face modules of the programme to a virtual format during Covid, and then returning to in-person sessions, all while preserving high levels of interaction and engagement.
The programme now combines immersive in-person learning, virtual expert sessions, peer discussion and realistic simulations, enabling participants to apply learning directly to their client accounts in real-time.
Feedback has consistently been very positive, with participants emphasising the value of learning from peers across the EMEA network, practising complex client conversations in realistic scenarios, and developing clearer ambition, strategy, and plans for their accounts.

The EMEA Account Manager Development Programme (AMDP) is a long-standing development programme delivered in partnership with PwC to strengthen the capability of account managers leading strategic client relationships across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
More about the brief
PwC engaged The Juniper Co. to design, deliver, and oversee the EMEA Account Manager Development Programme, a 10-month growth journey supporting account managers responsible for key client relationships across the region.
The programme aims to enhance the skills needed to lead strategic accounts, while fostering opportunities for account managers across the EMEA network to learn from each other and share best practices.
Working closely with the PwC core programme team, Juniper supports the design and delivery of the programme, bringing together PwC leaders, subject matter experts, and participants to explore the challenges and opportunities involved in leading complex client accounts.
Our approach
Our role is to review the existing programme materials and structure in collaboration with the PwC AMDP core programme team. Working closely with programme sponsors, guest presenters and contributors, Juniper facilitates the ongoing design, delivery and project management of the programme.
Given the scale of the programme and the number of stakeholders involved, effective coordination and consistent communication are crucial. This includes regular planning meetings with the core programme team to review content, confirm learning objectives, align on speakers, and ensure the overall flow of each module remains coherent and relevant.
Each module has specific learning objectives and contributes to a broader development journey. Juniper collaborates with PwC to ensure a clear “golden thread” runs throughout the programme, connecting the various modules, expert sessions, and practical exercises.
As part of this work, Juniper has facilitated the ongoing redesign and development of the programme, including converting two core face-to-face modules into virtual learning experiences and updating activities to ensure they continue to meet the programme’s objectives.
This involves:
- Collaborating with the PwC core team to review and update module content.
- Coordinating input from PwC leaders, subject matter experts, and external contributors
- Creating interactive sessions that enable participants to apply their learning to their own accounts.
- Designing realistic role-play scenarios with professional actors
- Adapting session formats and tools to facilitate both in-person and virtual learning settings.
- Redesigning agendas and session structures to allow time for peer discussion, reflection, and networking.
Throughout the programme, Juniper collaborates closely with PwC to ensure that each module is thoroughly planned and delivered, while maintaining a consistent learning experience throughout the entire programme.

We have a strong and longstanding partnership with The Juniper Co, benefiting from their consistent sharing of best practices in learning and development. Their fresh thinking and ideas help ensure learning design remains relevant and up-to-date, while maintaining the all-important ‘golden thread’ throughout each module of the programme. The team facilitates effective project management, outstanding learning delivery, and a thorough evaluation process that keeps us striving for the “even better if” at every stage. Their deep understanding of our business context and objectives plays a pivotal role in the success of our world-class programme.
